This wedding was full of unique details! It took place on New Year’s Eve at The Tasting Room in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hand made paper air planes, garlands, and cosmos hung from the windows which immediately set the stage for Michelle + Charlie’s event. We adored their unique aisle runner that led up to their pinwheel backdrop which really put a focus on the ceremony and made for a fun background against the exposed brick walls! To help create this vibe with the flowers the men wore succulent boutonnieres with grey brunia baubles finished in gold glitter velvet ribbon. The mothers opted for chunky pearl flower bracelets {which we love}, and the bride and bridesmaids bouquets were packed full of peach, coral, ivory, grey, and mint blooms adorned with gold seeded eucalyptus and streaming gold glitter velvet ribbon. A favorite wedding, most definitely! These beautiful, detailed photos were captured by Logan Walker of Pepper Nix.

Gold is a hot color right now for weddings. Since flowers don’t naturally come in gold, we often get asked “How can we incorporate this color into our flowers?”. There are a few ways to do this. With this particular wedding we air brushed gold seeded eucalyptus and then adorned the bouquets and boutonnieres in gold glitter velvet ribbon. Love the sparkle from the glitter. I have a thing with sparkles. They make everything so much more special feeling. A warm color palette of peach, coral, ivory, mint green, and grey tones complimented the gold. Flowers used in these designs are Juliet english garden roses, ranunculus, spray roses, football mums, dusty miller, brunia, mini pitt, hypericum berries, stock, succulents, and gold seeded eucalyptus. All the photography was beautifully captured by Heather Bliss Photography. Cheers to lots more gold {and sparkles}!

This is a magical treat just in time for Easter that I’m excited to share! Kristina Curtis Photography beautifully captured and orchestrated this shoot. Our model {Mackenzi Maynes} wore a soft pink dress with ruffly layers and by her side: A beautiful grey bunny named Hiccups. Mackenzi is wearing a whimsical Spring floral crown paired with a giant King Protea bouquet. Hiccups is wearing a spring floral wreath that he looks adorable in. A few favorite blooms we chose to base our designs around are the white daffodils with coral centers, bicolor clematis blooms, and the speckled hellebores in shades of mauve and plum. We accented with light blue scabiosa, bright fuchsia anemones, eryngium, and delicate blooms of wax flower which made up the floral crown and bunny wreath. I love the real color of eggs, perfect for this Easter inspired shoot. Happy Easter!!!
